　　PPG completes acquisition of global coatings manufacturer Whitford Worldwide

　　

　　近日，PPG宣布其已完成對于華福涂料公司的收購，華福涂料是一家專門生產(chǎn)工業(yè)應(yīng)用性低摩擦不粘涂料及消費類產(chǎn)品的公司。

　　Today, PPG announced that it has completed its acquisition of Whitford Worldwide Company (“Whitford”), a global manufacturer that specializes in low-friction and nonstick coatings for industrial applications and consumer products.

　　華福涂料是一家于1969年成立且總部設(shè)在賓夕法尼亞州埃爾弗森市的私營公司。該公司專業(yè)生產(chǎn)汽車產(chǎn)品、航空航天產(chǎn)品、能源產(chǎn)品和建筑產(chǎn)品的工業(yè)應(yīng)用性低摩擦耐磨涂料。華福涂料還為炊具、烤盤和小型電器(例如：烤箱、平底鍋、煎鍋和熨斗)生產(chǎn)不粘涂料。華福涂料擁有700多名員工及10處生產(chǎn)設(shè)施，其分別位于美國賓夕法尼亞州埃爾弗森市;美國俄亥俄州福斯托利亞市;加拿大安大略省古爾夫市;英國朗科恩市;意大利布雷西亞市;巴西圣保羅市;中國江門市;中國珠海市;新加坡大士及印度班加羅爾市。

　　Whitford, a privately held company headquartered in Elverson, Pennsylvania, was founded in 1969. The company specializes in manufacturing low-friction, wear-resistant coatings for industrial applications in automotive, aerospace, energy and construction products. Whitford also makes nonstick coatings for cookware, bakeware and small electric appliances such as toaster ovens, griddles, fry pans and irons. Whitford employs more than 700 people and operates 10 manufacturing facilities located in Elverson, PA, USA; Fostoria, Ohio, USA; Guelph, Ontario, Canada; Runcorn, UK; Brescia, Italy; Sao Paulo, Brazil; Jiangmen, China; Zhuhai, China; Tuas, Singapore; and Bangalore, India.
